Family celebrant training courses

Lucy Taylor, award-winning Yorkshire celebrant, offers highly regarded training and ongoing support for those who want to become wedding, family or funeral celebrants. Lucy has won many awards and was trained by The Professional Fellowship of Celebrants. Lucy runs in-person and online celebrant training courses in Leeds, Bradford and across West Yorkshire throughout the year through her company, Celebrant Number 1. The celebrant training courses cover marriage and commitment, child naming and funeral celebrations and ceremonies – not just contemporary, but also alternative!

The wants and needs of families and couples, as well as trends and traditions, change all the time. Lucy's celebrant training courses are based upon her own experiences and she will share with you in-depth, up to date information, including challenges, symbolisms and family stories, in order to cover you for all potential situations. She will also cover the preparation, writing and conducting techniques required – making your ceremonies all the more unique and special to all concerned.

The course is designed to cover a full weekend but if weekends are not suitable, it can also be run over 4 evenings of your choice or online at your own pace and convenience. At the end of the course, all successful graduates will be awarded with a certificate and will be able to practise immediately. All necessary materials will be provided – all you need to bring along is fun, enthusiasm and a sense of joining in.

Lucy can also offer in-house training courses run as small groups. Due to popular demand she also now offers the same course as an online distance learning course, and will work around times that are most suitable to you.
